When I work with vintage ephemera, I rarely begin with a plan. I collect fragments that catch my eye and trust that they’ll find their place. More often than not, they do.

Perhaps creativity asks the same of us. We don’t always need to know where we’re going. Sometimes we simply need to remain open—to beauty, to curiosity, and to the unexpected.
